Dave’s first foray into air sports was through skydiving, but he eventually
decided that he’d rather be flying than falling. Inspired by the adventurers
of aviation’s Golden Age, he decided to learn in a vintage biplane, and
completed his PPL in a De Havilland Tiger Moth.
Joining the Tiger Club meant that he could not only continue to fly Tigers,
but also make the leap from 1930s biplanes to monoplanes of the 1950s by
converting to the Club’s Turbulents!
This is Dave’s first season as part of the team, and our rookie opened his
account by chalking up his first 100 hours P1 while running in for his first
display!
